How It Works

Thulium lasers operate at a wavelength of 1927 nanometers, penetrating the skin to a depth of approximately 200-400 micrometers. This depth allows the laser to precisely target the epidermis and superficial dermis, effectively treating superficial epidermal problems without causing significant damage to the epidermis. The 1927nm fractional laser is characterized by using a fractional handpiece to focus the laser into a tiny spot (approximately 0.1-0.15mm in diameter) to irradiate the skin, achieving a non-ablative or micro-ablative effect, primarily used for skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction.
