QM Medical QM-Q2 Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser is a laser tattoo removal machine , portable aesthetic device designed for professional skin care clinics and beauty centers. Equipped with Q Swithched short pulse technology, the machine offers multiple wavelengths—1064nm, 532nm, 1320nm with an optional 755nm can meet a wide range of pigmentation and skin rejuvenation needs.
The peak power can reach to 500W, energy density reach to 1–1000mJ, and ultra-short pulse duration under 7ns, QM-Q2 ensures efficient, safe, and precise treatments. It has advanced cooling system (air cooling + closed water circulation) allows continuous operation for up to 15 hours.
Application
(Q-switched) Nd:YAG systems deliver very short, high-peak-power nanosecond pulses (1064nm, 532nm, 1320nm, 755nm ) that create photomechanical shockwaves to fragment pigment with minimal collateral heating. For tattoo removal (especially black and many colored inks), solar lentigines, café-au-lait macules and other superficial pigmented lesions where precise pigment fragmentation and subsequent clearance by the body are required.
Tattoo Removal: Black, blue, red, pink, purple, and brown pigments.
Pigmentation Therapy: Freckles, melasma, sunspots, and dermal pigmentary conditions.
Skin Rejuvenation: Pore tightening, wrinkle reduction, collagen stimulation.
Acne & Oil Control: Carbon peel technology for clearer, smoother skin.
Black Carbon Head(1320nm): For deep cleaning, skin whitening, skin rejuvenation, shrink pores, acne treatment, wrinkle removal etc.
Working Principle

The Q-switched Nd:YAG laser works on the principle of photodisruption effects. By emitting high peak energy pulses within nanoseconds, the laser targets pigment particles in the skin without damaging surrounding tissue. The laser emits high-energy pulses within nanoseconds, targeting pigment particles embedded in the skin.
Upon absorption, these pigment particles undergo an instantaneous photomechanical effect, shattering into tiny fragments. Some fragments are expelled through the skin’s surface, while others are naturally metabolized and removed by the lymphatic system.
The 1064nm wavelength penetrates deeper layers of the skin, effectively removing black and blue pigments, such as those found in tattoos and dermal pigmentation disorders (e.g., Nevus of Ota).
The 532nm wavelength targets superficial pigments, addressing red, brown, and pink lesions, freckles, solar lentigines, and epidermal melasma.
The optional 1320nm Black Carbon tip provides a"Carbon Laser Facial", which deeply cleanses, tightens pores, whitens skin, reduces acne, and stimulates collagen regeneration for anti-aging benefits.
The 755nm wavelength used for epidermal & dermal pigments, melasma, freckles, skin brightening.
This precise laser action ensures minimal thermal damage to surrounding tissue, making treatments both safe and effective with little downtime for patients.
Multi-Wavelength Tips
Four wavelengths (1064nm, 532nm, 1320nm, 755nm) allow versatile applications, from tattoo removal to carbon peeling and skin rejuvenation.

FAQ of the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser
▶ What makes this laser device “portable”?
Portable q-switched laser is compact, lightweight, and easy to move between treatment rooms or locations. Despite its size, it retains the power and effectiveness of a full-size nd yag laser machine, making it ideal for clinics with limited space or mobile practices.
▶ Many laser devices can be quite painful for patients. Is Q-switched Nd:YAG laser treatment painful?
During treatment, some pain and burning may be experienced. This occurs because pigment particles absorb the laser energy and break down into small fragments. If the pain is unbearable, an ice hammer can be used for cooling. However, the pain is generally mild and brief.
▶ How many sessions are needed for tattoo removal?
Tattoo removal typically requires 3-6 sessions, depending on the ink color, depth, and skin type. Darker inks like black respond best to q-switched laser treatment, while colors like green and blue may require more sessions.
▶ Can the QM-Q2 be used continuously for extended periods?
Yes. Thanks to its advanced cooling system, it can operate continuously for up to 15 hours, making it ideal for high-volume, busy clinics.
▶ What is the patient's recovery period after treatment?
The recovery period is expected to be short. Patients may experience temporary redness, swelling, or slight scabbing, which typically subsides after a few days.
